30 CE credit hours required every 2 years - all may be earned with CHI Professional Development, Inc.

CHI Professional Development distant learning course credits are accepted by ABBHE.
ABBHE requires that 20 hours for recertification be substance abuse specific. Please be aware of these requirements when selecting courses on this site.

For recertification 3 hours are required in ethics or mental health law and 3 hours are required in cultural competency or diversity.

Regarding supervision renewal, for initial renewal period, 12 hours of supervision CE must be earned. For each subsequent renewal, 6 hours of supervision CE must be earned.
