Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors are required to fulfill fifteen (15) contact hours of continuing education each calendar year (January 1 to December 31). Nine (9) hours must be face to face and six (6) houall may be multi-media with at least three (3) of the fifteen (15) hours relating to ethics.

Marriage & Family Therapists
Provider NBCC ACEP No. 7194
20 CE credit hours required every 2 years - all may be earned with CHI Professional Development, Inc. CHI Professional Development, Inc's distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Counselors and marriage and family therapists, as set forth by the Tennessee Board of Professional Counselors, MFT & CPT.
3 credit hours must be in ethics for each renewal
10 credit hours must be taken each year and 5 of those can be online.
CHI Professional Development, Inc, a service of CHI Professional Development, Inc, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1776) and National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC #5951) and American Psychological Association (APA). CHI Professional Development, Inc maintains responsibility for the courses.

Social Workers

15 CE credit hours required every 2 years -all may be earned with CHI Professional Development, Inc. CHI Professional Development, Inc's distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers as set forth by the Tennessee Board of Social Work.
(a) Each licensee shall obtain fifteen (15) continuing education clock hours relative to social work during each calendar year.
(b) Ten (10) of the fifteen (15) hours shall be in social work.
� Three (3) of the fifteen (15) hours shall be in professional ethics.
(d) Two (2) of the fifteen (15) hours shall be in either social work or professional ethics.
