Course Description:
 
Many clients do not know they are eligible for insurance programs.  These programs can assist in more significant cost savings for treatment.  More treatment options can be available. 
 
Many clients do not know how to enroll in insurance or even where to start to enroll. Helping them to enroll will effectively allow for more treatment options.
 
Insurance can be confusing, enabling and empowering a client to take control of their own insurance will help them in their own treatment.
 
Objectives:
 
Identify the types of health insurance and how to acquire each type
Name different terms in health insurance and what they each mean
How to read an EOB – Explanation of Benefits
Explain a bill from a provider
