Diane Schneider, MS

Diane taught for 38 years in Rockland County, NY. She was the co-chair for GLSEN Hudson Valley and did many workshops for both students and teachers. Diane is an author and online professor for Teacher Education Institute and created the course “Reaching Out to Our Gay and Transgender Students.” She is working with Welcoming Schools as a nationally trained facilitator and is also with Safe Schools South Florida as a trainer and a curriculum writer for these trainings. She joined the LGBTQ cadre with the NEA in 2007. She currently resides in Florida.
